Returns/Exchanges
Final Sale Policy
No Returns or Exchanges: All products are final sale. Please ensure the correct size is selected at checkout, as we do not authorize refunds or exchanges for sizing errors. If you're unsure about sizing, visit a retailer to try on the skates before purchasing.
Purchases from Other Retailers
If you purchased Balance Blades from another store or website, you must contact that retailer directly for returns or exchanges. Balance Blades does not handle returns for items purchased elsewhere, as these products are manufactured and licensed by Winnwell Hockey.
Damaged or Defective Products
If your skates are damaged during shipping or arrive defective:
- The skates must be new, unused, in their original packaging.
- You have 30 days from the original order date to request an exchange.
- The buyer is responsible for all shipping fees related to returns.
Please note that Balance Blades does not offer replacement parts, and any warranty claims should follow the guidelines of the original purchase retailer.
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are non-refundable, as they are charged by the shipping company. For example:
- Shipping from the USA to Canada may cost approximately $40 USD.
- Customs import duties may be $35 USD.
- A $10 USD restocking fee may apply.
On-Sale Items
Sale items cannot be returned or refunded.
Limited Warranty
Balance Blades Inc. offers a 30-day limited warranty from the original purchase date for defects caused by shipping. The warranty applies exclusively to the original buyer and only for items purchased from the Balance Blades website.
Exclusions:
- Products that have been abused, altered, defaced, misused, or damaged due to consumer neglect.
- Items that have been used or are not in their original packaging.
Warranty Claim Process:
To claim your warranty, email customerservice@balanceblades.com with the following details:
- Full name, address, and contact information.
- Proof of purchase and original order receipt.
- A description and photos of the damage.
Skates that show signs of misuse or damage caused by the customer will not qualify for a warranty replacement.
